{"id":109,"date":"2026-01-06T21:38:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-06T20:38:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bistrogrilldiplomat.cz\/?page_id=109"},"modified":"2026-07-04T23:47:43","modified_gmt":"2026-07-04T21:47:43","slug":"terms-and-conditions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/bistrogrilldiplomat.cz\/en\/obchodni-podminky\/","title":{"rendered":"Terms and Conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diplomat Hotel 4****<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diplomat Hotel Operations s.r.o., identification number: 230 75 562, with its registered office at Evropsk\u00e1 2690\/17, Dejvice, 160 00 Prague 6, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file reference C 420996 (hereinafter referred to as the \u201ehotel\u201c).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These terms and conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations arising in connection with or based on a contract concluded between the hotel and another person. Therefore, these terms and conditions generally apply to all hotel guests and agencies with whom a written service agreement has not been concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. BOOKING ACCOMMODATION AND SERVICES:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>reservations for accommodation and other services at the hotel, and confirmation of these reservations by the hotel, are only possible in writing, i.e. by email<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A reservation is considered valid and binding if the hotel confirms the reservation to the guest in writing (by email) or if the guest receives an automatic email confirmation generated by the relevant online reservation system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The reservation is completed by payment card or by paying a deposit in the amount of the stated accommodation and services; individual conditions may also be set.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the event that the hotel or guest does not meet the conditions set out in point 3 of this article, the hotel may refuse to provide accommodation and services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The details provided on the booking confirmation are binding for both parties.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. PRICES, CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT TERMS:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The price is per room per night, including breakfast, unless the guest chooses otherwise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The accommodation price includes VAT at 12 %; the city tax of 50 CZK per person per night is not included in the accommodation price; guests must pay this fee at the hotel reception<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The cancellation of a confirmed reservation can also only be made in writing, i.e. by email; the exact method of cancelling the reservation is determined by the booking system that was used for the reservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When cancelling a reservation made through an external provider (e.g. Booking.com), it is necessary to cancel the reservation through that provider as well, using the method they require and under the booking's terms and conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A change to a booking, i.e. moving ordered services to another date, is considered a cancellation of the original booking and is subject to the same rules as a cancellation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accommodation can be paid for in cash, with the hotel accepting CZK and EUR. If paying by credit\/debit card, the amount will be charged in CZK or in the currency of the client's payment card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the Act on the Registration of Sales, the seller is obliged to issue a receipt to the buyer; at the same time, they are obliged to register the received sale with the tax administrator online, or in the event of a technical failure, no later than 48 hours thereafter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise the guest's card up to the full cost of the stay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The hotel reserves the right for pre-authorisation of the total amount for the accommodation from the guest's presented payment\/credit card, if the conditions of a given reservation stipulate so.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the event of a no-show by the guest on the reservation date, the reservation will be cancelled and the hotel is entitled to charge costs according to the cancellation policy of the given reservation.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. GUEST'S RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The host has the right to use the reserved spaces and their equipment, as well as the equipment in the common areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The guest is responsible for any damage caused in the room during their stay and agrees to pay for any repairs, replacements, or special cleaning costs; the amount of compensation will be determined by the hotel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The guest is obliged to report any defects and shortcomings during their stay at the hotel so that a remedy can be arranged.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The guest is obliged to pay for the costs associated with the use of hotel services, including additional services, no later than the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed; in the event of non-payment, the hotel is entitled to charge (deduct) the corresponding amount from the guest's provided payment card after their departure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The host may withdraw from the contract based on the cancellation policy or in the event that the hotel has not provided the guest with pre-arranged services corresponding to the hotel's standard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check-in to the hotel is from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival; earlier check-in is only possible by prior arrangement with the hotel and may incur a fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check-out time is 12:00 noon on the day of departure; late check-out is possible upon arrangement with the hotel and for a fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The entire hotel is non-smoking; violation of this regulation and smoking in the room or hotel premises authorises the hotel to charge the guest a penalty of EUR 200 for cleaning the room or hotel premises; the smoking ban and the associated penalty also apply to smoking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>electronic cigarettes; smoking is only permitted in front of the hotel in designated area(s)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM is the quiet hours; behaviour that disturbs other guests during quiet hours is strictly forbidden (this includes loud music, television, shouting in rooms, corridors, and any other disruptive behaviour); for serious violations of this rule, the hotel may penalise guests with a fine of up to \u20ac400 or, if necessary, call the police.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dogs can be accommodated upon hotel confirmation for a fee of 20 EUR\/day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event of a consumer dispute arising between us and the consumer from a purchase contract or a contract for the provision of services, which cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the consumer may lodge a proposal for out-of-court settlement of such dispute with the designated out-of-court consumer dispute resolution entity, which is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Czech Trade Inspection Authority<br>Central Inspectorate \u2013 ADR Department<br>Gorazdova 1969\/24<br>120 00 Prague 2<br>Email: adr@coi.gov.cz<br>Web: adr.coi.gov.cz<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. HOTEL'S RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The hotel is obliged to provide the guest with accommodation based on pre-agreed services that correspond to the hotel's standard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the hotel cannot accommodate a guest based on a pre-made and confirmed reservation, it is obliged to arrange adequate accommodation for the guest in another establishment.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. FINAL PROVISIONS:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These terms are valid from 1 February 2026, and the hotel reserves the right to amend them.
